John Sandberg is a creative director, brand strategist and designer based in Chicago, and originally from Moline, Ill. He graduated from Illinois State University, where he received his B.S. in Public Relations (2006). Outside of work, you can find him hanging out with his family and trying to cop the latest sneaker release.

One Goal III was a Silver Winner in the category of Sports & Recreation at the 2016 Independent Book Publishers Association Benjamin Franklin Awards in Salt Lake City, Utah.
One Goal III earned the Gold Leaf Award in the category of Bound Book/Publication at the Foil & Specialty Effect Association’s 23rd Annual Gold Leaf Awards Competition.
Hat Trick’s DVD packaging garnered the Bronze Leaf Award in the category of Best Use of Cold Foil (Sheet or Rotary) on Paperboard Label/Carton at the Foil & Specialty Effect Association’s 23rd Annual Gold Leaf Awards Competition.
The 2013-14 Chicago Blackhawks Media Guide earned the Silver Leaf Award in the Best Use of Embossing with Print category at the Foil & Specialty Effect Association’s 21st Annual Gold Leaf Awards Competition.
Blackhawks Convention earned a Silver Medal at the 2011 Promax/BDA Sports Media Marketing Awards for “Best Print, Poster or Outdoor Campaign.”
The 2007-08 Illinois State University men’s basketball program was voted “Best in the Nation” in NCAA Division I by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
